How to prepare for your treatment
Before you attend the salon for your Intense Pulse Light (IPL) treatment please ensure you follow these important preparation steps.
Shave any hair from the treatment area the day before your appointment
On the day of your treatment, the treatment area should be free from make-up, deodorant and body creams.
Wear loose fitting clothes if you are having a body treatment.
Buy sun cream if your treatment area is likely to be exposed to the sun after treatment.
Steps to avoid before your laser treatment
Before you attend the salon for your Intense Pulse Light (IPL) treatment please ensure you avoid these important steps.
Do not use any essential oils on the treatment area 48 hours prior to treatment
Avoid using any fake tan or tanning moisturisers before your appointment.
No prolonger sun exposure or tanning beds prior to your treatment.
No waxing, epilating, bleaching or plucking the treatment area before your appointment.
